International Blog Highlights - Masculine Cards

Hello everyone!  I am once again participating in Kylie's International Blog Highlights challenge.  This month we have all made masculine cards.  

I always struggle to come up with a good masculine card.  But I knew exactly what I wanted to do this time.  I love the look of shadowbox cards.  This is only my second time doing this kind of card.  The first time I had some major issues getting my pieces straight.  This time it came together quickly, and easily.  I can't wait to try this fancy fold again!

Lovely As A Tree is my go to set for masculine cards.   I have also been using the Northern Lights technique a lot lately.  It is a simple way to make a very dramatic card.

SSInk - Birthday Cards

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Wednesday!  I'm loving the smell of flowers as they are finally coming back.  What is your favorite part about spring?

Today over at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration we are sharing birthday ideas.  Spring always makes me think of birthdays, and I think I reach for more cards this season, than any other time of the year.  In our home, we are preparing for my daughter's 12th birthday.  Where has the time gone?

Here is the card I made:

I am really going to miss this product suite!  I can't believe they are retiring it already!  The Designer Series Paper, and stamp set featured here are from the Party Animal suite in the Occasions Catalog, and is while supplies lasts only!  This great suite can be used to make fun birthday cards for anyone, make sure you order yours before it is too late!

ICS Blog Hop - Friendly Wishes

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the May edition of the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop!  My friends and I have some great ideas to share with you tonight, all around the theme "It's A Girl Thing!".  Be sure to leave some love for the blogs as you hop around.  

I decided to go with a Mother's Day card.  It is definitely a girl thing, and coming up so fast!

I used many retiring products on my card.  Remember, accessories, tools, and consumable items that are on the retiring list are only available while supplies lasts.  Retiring stamp sets are guaranteed through May 22nd, and then will only be while supplies lasts.  Be sure to get you retiring list order in soon, before your favorite items are gone for good!
