Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration - Any Occasion

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a good week!  Today over at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration we are sharing Any Occasion cards.  Sometimes, you need something other than birthday and thank you cards.

I used the new Lovely Friends stamp set.  I love the giant greetings in this set, and all the fun small accent pieces too!

Here is my card:

I started with a Powder Pink card base, and 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper.  I stamped my greeting, in Night of Navy onto a piece of Whisper White that is 3 3/4" x 5".  I then stamped the two step stampin' flowers in Powder Pink.  The base layer was stamped off onto my grid paper first.  I then filled in with So Saffron dot groupings, and Soft Sky single dots.

I found the idea for my color combination on the 2017 In Color Combinations chart that Stampin' Up! put together for us.  You can see the chart here:

Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration - Birthday Cards

Good Morning Everyone!  Welcome to Wednesday!  We are halfway through the week, and I hop this finds you doing well.

Today, over at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration, we are all sharing some birthday card ideas.  Even though this is by far the type of card that I make most, I seem to always be running out of them.

Here is my card:

For my center tulip, I popped up the detailed stamp with a dimensional.

For my card I used the new Tranquil Tulips hostess set.  This set is fabulous.  I love the watercolor style, and the two-step stamping for added detail.

I started by stamping my flower stems in Old Olive onto a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White card stock.  I then added the base stamp for each of the tulips in Rich Razzleberry.  On the two outisde, smaller tulips I added the detail in Fresh Fig.  For the center, larger tulip, I stamped the detail image onto a separate piece of Whisper White, and cut it out.  Once I had my stems, and flowers done, I went in and added some leaves in Old Olive to fill in my bouquet.

I then matted my Whisper White piece onto a piece of Old Olive card stock that is 4" x 5 1/4".  I tied some Old Olive 1/8" sheer ribbon around, with a simple knot.  My greeting is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set shown on page 77 of the Annual Catalog.  The greeting was stamped onto Whisper White that was cut out using the Stitched Shape framelits, and matted on a Layering Oval framelit in Fresh Fig.  The greeting is popped up with dimensionals.

That is all I have to share for today.  Be sure to head over to the Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration blog to see what the other design team members have come up with.

Friday Favorites: New Stamp Set

Hello everyone!  Welcome to Friday!  What do you have planned for the weekend?  We have so many plans this weekend, I get exhausted just thinking about it.  My kids have a band concert, we a have a couple service obligations, two bake sales, and then of course celebrating Father's Day.  I am so happy for the weekend, even if it is a busy one!

For this weeks edition of Friday Favorites at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration we are all sharing our favorite new stamp set.  I just have to say... it was so hard to pick just one favorite set!  There are so many fabulous new sets in the catalog.

In the end, I did choose one set.  While there are many that I love, this set is just so striking, beautiful, and great for making simple cards with.

I choose Floral Statements.
Here is my card:

For my card, I stamped the Thanks stamp in Archival Basic Black ink, onto watercolor paper.  I then used my Watercolor Pencils and and Aqua Painter to color in the flowers and stems.  When I was done, I wanted to add a little shimmer to my card.  I went over all of the letters with my clear Wink of Stella pen.  I then matted my watercolor paper on a piece of Basic Black, and attached that to a Melon Mambo card base.

That is all I have to share for today.  Be sure to head over to Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration to see what the other Design Team member are sharing!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wood Crate Note Cards

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a great week.  We are busy this week preparing for the end of our homeschool year, getting ready for the spring band concert, and also get ready for Father's Day.

Last week, I made some adorable little wood crates with the new Wood Crate Framelit dies, and coordinating Wood Words stamp set.  I made these crates for my customers who came to my In Color Spectacular class last weekend.

I cut my two wood crate pieces out of Soft Suede Card Stock, and then ran them through my bigh shot with the new Pinewood Planks dynamic embossing folder.  I filled the crates with five 3" x 3" cards, with coordinating envelopes.  These cards are super simle, and came together very quickly.

The envelopes were made from the coordinating Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper.  I am in love with that paper.

The five cards feature a small piece of the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper, and each feature different stamps from the coordinating Wood Words Stamp set.

That is all I have to share for today!  Thanks so much for stopping by!
