SSINK: Here Kitty Kitty

Hello everyone!  Today over at SSInkspiration we are sharing some fun cat ideas.  This fun punch has turned out to be a lot more versatile than I originally though it would be.  With, or without stamps this punch is adorable.

Here is my card:

I started with a Smoky Slate cardstock base.  I used a piece of designer series paper from the Whole Lot of Lovely pack, that is on sale for just one more week.  I punched out a little kitty in both Whisper White, and Basic Black cardstock.  I hooked their tails together, and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  For my greeting, I used the Just Add Text stamp set that I recently got.  I stamped in Smoky Slate, onto Whisper White.  Then, I punched it out using the Pretty Label Punch.  This card was quick and easy, and would brighten up anyone's day.

Be sure to head over to the Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration blog to see what the other design team members are sharing today.  Don't forget, you have until this Friday to enter the current Fun Folds challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Spooky Cat

Hello everyone!  Today I have a fun card to share with you that I made using the Spooky Cat stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.

Here is my card:

I wanted my moon to have a bit of a different texture, even though the cat was stamped on the moon.

I used my fine tip glue to outline the cat, and then covered the whole moon.  The cat is still matte finish, plain cardstock.  But the rest of the moon has a fun, shiny, bumpy texture to it.  The bumps come from some air bubbles in my fine tip glue, made by shaking it up.

The stamps on this card all come from the Spooky Cat stamp set, found on page 53 of the Holiday Catalog.

I made the ticket corners on my Basic Black square using the Everyday Label Punch.  I used the rounded end to cut out the corners of my square.

That is all I have to share for today.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stamp with Me Saturday - Halloween Fun

Good Morning everyone!  Happy Saturday to you!  Did you know that today is World Card Making Day?  Even though my family is at family camp this weekend, we plan to spend some time today making some greeting cards.  I have been wanting to start something new for a long time, and I thought World Card Making Day was the perfect time to start. Welcome to the first ever, Stamp with Me Saturday.  Each week in addition to sharing a project, I will share a video showing how I made that project.

This week, I have some Halloween fun projects to share.  I  made this card, and treat holder using some of the products found in the Spooky Night product suite in the Holiday Catalog.

I love this suite of products, and they coordinate together so well!

You can see that the cat treat holds a single Hershey kiss.

Here is the video I made, showing you how I made these projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you enjoy the video.

Cat in the Window

Hey everyone!  Welcome to October.  I am always in amazement of how fast the year seems to fly by; and this turning of another calendar page is no exception.

Today I am sharing a different way to use the fun cat punch featured in the holiday catalog.

I wanted my card to look like the outside of a house, with a peek into the window.  For the outside of my house, I started with Whisper White cardstock, and embossed it with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.  Before running the folder through the big shot, I added some Sahara Sand ink, so I could get the two toned effect.  I cut out a whisper white window, and went to work deciding what I wanted the inside of my house to look like.  I used the Pretty Label punch, and Dapper Denim cardstock to make my curtains.  I used a scrap of Wood Textures to make a faux table.  On top of my table, I stamped the flower pot from the Sitting Here stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink  , and colored it in using the 2016-2018 In Color Markers.  I punched out my kitty cat, using Smoky Slate cardstock, and moved his head so that he was laying down in the window.  My greeting is also from the Sitting Here stamp set, stamped in Basic Black on a thin strip of Smoky Slate cardstock.

That is all I have to share for today. I hope you are having a great weekend!
