Fabulous Florals

Good morning!  Today at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration we are sharing some fun floral ideas.  I love that we have so many fun options with that are floral.  Today I am sharing a card made with our Share What You Love sweet.  You will be able to purchase the products from this suite as a special pre-release starting on May 1st.

For my card I started with a Rich Razzleberry card base.  I added two mats from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I also have a strip of Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon.  My stamped flowers were done on Whisper White, cut out with the Stitched Shapes framelits, and matted in Old Olive cut out with the Layering Circle Framelits.  My greeting was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a label found in the Share What You Love Embellishment kit.  I finished off the card with a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

Be sure to head over to the SSInkspiration blog to see what the rest of the team designed.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

#SSINKTC47

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  I spent most of the weekend just relaxing with my husband.  It was such a nice change from our usually jam packed schedule!

Today, at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration we have a Technique Challenge starting.

I was a little apprehensive about, and intimidated by this technique to start with.  But I am so glad I tried it out!  It is fun, and also an easy way to make up a whole set of coordinating cards!

Here is my card:

I used the Pear Pizazz, Rose Red, Calypso Coral, and Crushed Curry reinkers with the Ink Spray & Smash technique to create my background.  I then stamped images from the Paisleys & Posies stamp set over the background, using Archival Basic Black ink.  I dressed it up with some Pear Pizazz shimmer ribbon, and Black Mini Sequins, and a Happy Birthday greeting from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.

I hope you will head over to the Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration blog and see what the other design team members did with this technique, and maybe even play along with the challenge yourself!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Colored Christmas

Hello everyone!  Thanks for dropping by today.  I hope you are having a good week!

We are having a good week, just trying to wrap up these two weeks or so of homeschooling before we take our long winter break.

I am also in the middle of Holiday Bazaar Season.  I am on week 4 of 6 of having a bazaar each and every weekend.  I have had so much fun meeting new people!

Today, I'm sharing a colored Christmas card with you.

Here is my card:

I stamped the ornaments stamp from Jar of Cheer all around the edges of the Whisper White card stock using Soft Suede ink.  Then, I colored in the images.  I used one of the ovals from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, with Cherry Cobbler card stock for the greeting that I embossed using Versamark and Silver Embossing Powder.

I hope you enjoy this card I've shared!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
