12 Weeks of Christmas #8

Hello everyone!  It is Thursday, which means it is time for another 12 weeks of Christmas post.  The holidays are starting to feel a lot closer now.  We are officially into November, and I am doing my first holiday bazaar today.

Today, I am sharing a set of Christmas cards.  This is a set of five cards, that mostly feature products from the Merry Little Christmas suite, and are packaged in an Acetate Card Box.  I embossed the box with the Winter Wonder embossing folder, before wrapping it in ribbon.

Here is my project:

The fun acetate card boxes are the best way to give someone a set of cards.  Five cards, and envelopes fit inside the box.  Next, I show you a closer look at each of the cards inside.

#SSINKTC47

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  I spent most of the weekend just relaxing with my husband.  It was such a nice change from our usually jam packed schedule!

Today, at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration we have a Technique Challenge starting.

I was a little apprehensive about, and intimidated by this technique to start with.  But I am so glad I tried it out!  It is fun, and also an easy way to make up a whole set of coordinating cards!

Here is my card:

I used the Pear Pizazz, Rose Red, Calypso Coral, and Crushed Curry reinkers with the Ink Spray & Smash technique to create my background.  I then stamped images from the Paisleys & Posies stamp set over the background, using Archival Basic Black ink.  I dressed it up with some Pear Pizazz shimmer ribbon, and Black Mini Sequins, and a Happy Birthday greeting from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.

I hope you will head over to the Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration blog and see what the other design team members did with this technique, and maybe even play along with the challenge yourself!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Top Ten International Highlight Winners Blog Hop

Welcome everyone!  Today is the Top Ten Winners Blog Hop from Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights from March.  Thanks so much for voting for my card!  I'm so excited to be able to participate in this blog hop for the second month in a row.

Our International Highlights projects, and our top 10 winners blog hop both feature the All Things Thanks stamp set found on page 35 of the Occasions Catalog.  This stamp set is great because you can use it to make a Thank You card for any occasion.

Here is my card:

I used a piece of watercolor paper, and my watercolor pencils to make a watercolor wash background.  I then stamped the swirl from Swirly Bird stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black all over the background.

That is all I have to share for today!  Next up on our hop is my Austrailian Demonstrator friend, Petra Tailor from Tailored Craftiness.  I know she has something fabulous to share!

Thanks for stopping by!
