Easy Watercolor Background

I came across a beautiful card on this blog: LW Designs.  I just had to try out this technique.  I CASE'd her card pretty closely, only because I loved it so much.  I did change up my stamp set, and used my go to set -  Secret Garden.

You can find directions on how to create this cool background on the blog linked above.  I hope you like my card!  Thanks for stopping by!

June Stamp Camp

It is almost time for the June Stamp Camp!  This month we will be making five cards.  I wanted cards that would showcase some of the new, and fun products available in the Idea Book & Catalog.  So we have an array of new colors, embellishments, stamp sets, and punches to use.  This month the stamp camp will be on June 29th at 3pm.  If you would like to come, you can RSVP here:

Here are the cards we will be making:

This card features a few new things. The Label Love stamp set, Artisan Label Punch, Gingham Garden Washi Tape, and  of course the Simply Pressed clay.

This lovely Hello card features a few things that thankfully carried over from the Spring Catalog.  I love the paper  doilies, and the Dress Up framelits.  (Again, we use the Simply Pressed clay -can you tell that it is my favorite new thing?!?!)  But my favorite part about this card is the base - I love that new Coastal Cabana In Color!

This card does not actually feature anything new, I just wanted to include it because of it's bright summery color scheme.  :)

This card celebrates the return of Blushing Bride, and also features the carried over Honeycomb Embossing folder, Secret Garden stamp set, and Secret Garden framelits.

I hope you are as excited as I am to come to June's Stamp Camp and play with some new product.  Again, to register you can go to my website and RSVP.  Scrappy Stamps & Ink  Stamp camps are $10, and you will need to bring your favorite adhesive with you.

Which card is your favorite?
Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Garden

Today's card features the ever popular Secret Garden stamp set.  This is definitely a go to set that I am not sure how I ever lived without!  This set is so easy to dress up, or dress down - and goes with any sort of greeting.  Today, we have a birthday card that uses the Color Challenge from Pals Paper Arts and the Lunchtime Sketch Challenge at Technostamper.

And here is the card I came up with:

What do you think?  I was surprised at how much I liked it when it was finished.  I really didn't care much for it while it was coming together.  I was sure I'd have to make something else to use for the challenges.

Thanks for checking in today!
Have a great day!

Croppin' for a Cure Fun

This is a photo of my friends and I being silly.  From left to right we have : Tammy, Me, Jodi, and Danyll.

Yesterday I was a vendor at a crop.  I have friends who are very involved with Relay for Life.  They host crops every month or so to raise money for RFL and The American Cancer society.  I made goodies for the place settings for croppers, and provided a make n take.
This is the make n take that the cropper were able to do.  It uses the Sale-a-Bration set Bloomin' Marvelous.

This was my prototype of the nametags for the crop.  The actual ones turned out a little different, but  I forgot to take a picture of the finished place setting.
