Holiday Blog Hop

Hello Ladies!  It is that time again!  Time for another fun blog hop with Sherry and Friends!

This month we are all featuring Holiday Items.  You may have come here from Olivia's blog, weren't her projects great?  If you are starting from here, don't worry, you can always wrap around back to check out her items!

I am showcasing the Festivve Flurry Stamp Set, Framelit Dies, and the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Stack.  I hosted a retreat last weekend, and I used these items for the event.  My ladies who attended were treated to six make-n-take projects!  I also made them planners, made a welcome banner, candy treat boxes, and place cards.  I had so much fun working with this coordinating set of products!

This is the welcome banner I made, to decorate our beach house with.  I used the Simply Created Banner Kit, and the Christmas Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit to make this.  It came together pretty fast, and I love how it turned out!

This is what their name tags looked like.  I used the Square Framelits for the base, the Label Framelits for the name, and then the smallest Festive Flurry Stamp & Die to accent.

This is the Candy/Treat box I decorated.  I used our Kraft boxes from the IBC.  I decorated the four sides with the Winter Frost DSP Stack.  I also used some retired gray ribbon on the top.  For that snowflake on top, I cut one out of Pool Party cardstock.  Then I stamped the same size snowflake in Pool Party on a window sheet, and used the framelit to cut it out.  Then I cut out a third of that size of snowflake with our Silver Glimmer Paper.  I layered the glimmer paper directly under the window sheet, and then off set the cardstock snowflake.  They are SO much prettier in person!   Inside I tucked away a few pieces of chocolate, to help make it through the weekend!

This was one of our make-n-take projects.  Originally, this was going to be the only project.  But when I put it together, I thought it was kinda small.  Beautiful, but small.  So, I decided to spoil my attendees, and creat a few more make n take projects for them.

This was their second make-n-take project; a post it not
e holder.  I love the crisp white background, especially with the diagonal stripes embossing folder!

For the last of the make-n-takes, I wanted them to be able to make a set of cards.  So, I designed four cards.  Most have some sort of Pinterest inspiration on them.

For this first one, I took advantage of the clearance rack offerings, and my small group size to use up some retired Island Indigo brads.

I love the blingy, sparkly look you get to anything when you add glimmer paper!

This card uses some left over ribbon I had from the Christmas Simply Created Banner Accessory Kit.

This card uses some retired Pool Party ribbon, but it was a great way to use it up!

That is what I have to show you for today!  I hope you enjoyed my projects!  Be sure to stop by on the rest of the hop, and check out what the other ladies have made!

Have a great week!
