Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack

Hey everyone!
Who's ready for the big game this weekend?  Are you a football fan, planning on watching the game?  Or are you a football widow, who is looking forward to the crafting time?  Either way - it should be a good day!!  I will be watching the game, and cheering on our local guys!  We don't have our definite plans nailed down yet - but they will for sure include the 3 F's - football, food, and fun!  #gohawks!

Earlier this month, I had a Birthday Card Stamp a Stack class.  We made 16 cards, four each of four different designs.  I included the Remembering Your Birthday Stamp set in with the class fee, so the ladies could recreate their cards at home.

I wanted to try and cover different types of birthday card needs at this class.  So, I have cards that are manly, boyish, girly, and ...ladylike.  (For lack of a better word!  LOL)

This is my girly card.  I really like the glitter on the cake, and the soft colors.  This card features the Birthday Cake single stamp offered in the Idea Book and Catalog.

This was my boyish card.  This was my first time doing sanding on the coordinations cardstock, I used the Alphabet Press embossing folder.  I love it!  I can't wait to do it again on another project!!  This card also features the Tag It stamp set, which is our Ronald McDonald House Charities set of the year.  Each time this set is purchase, Stampin' Up! donates $3 to the RMHC.  The whole set is fun, and it also coordinates with our Chalk Talk Framelits.

Here is my grown up girly card.  :)  I saw something like this on pinterest, but I couldn't find the pin to source it here.  I changed it up just a bit to fit my needs.  This card has so many elements.  The stamps are from Everything Eleanor, and Flower Shop.  The Designer Series Paper comes from Modern Medley, Afternoon Picnic, and Etcetera.  We also used the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder.

This was my manly card.  I do not do a lot of manly stuff, so I was a bit worried about it.  But, I saw this pin by Jennifer Jackson, and just changed it up a little.  I knew I wanted to include the new Hardwood stamp from the Occasions Catalog.  This card also features the Clockworks set, which is quickly becoming a favorite!

That is what I have for today!  What ever your plans are, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  Thanks for stopping by!

Nichole
