Affection Collection

This hour I am choosing to showcase Affection Collection.  I received this stamp set for attending convention - and initially, I wasn't thrilled with it.  But - oh boy - let me tell you, it has grown on me!  My favorite thing about this stamp set is it's natural layering tendencies.  I really love that this card uses three of the five newer In Colors, Primrose Petal, Midnight Muse, and Summer Starfruit.  We did this card at a stamp camp a couple weeks ago.

Daydream Medallions

This hour I am choosing to showcase the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set.  It is a gorgeous set, that can be used for so many different things!  It also coordinates with our Floral Frame Framelits.  Here I have shown you two love note cards.  These are great for quick, short notes.

Sprinkling Happiness

Hello everyone!  We have all successfully made it halfway through the week!  Who's ready for the weekend?? (Me!!)  I participated in a demonstartor challenge with Stampin' Up! a few months ago, and was able to earn this gnome stamp set for free.  (One of the many fabulous perks of being a demo!!)  I was happy to be earning something out of the Occasions Mini, but wasn't really feeling the gnomes....

Until I started playing with them.  They are so cute, and fun to work with.  This card is one we did as a make and take for my customer appreciation party.  With the exception of her red nose, I think it is adorable.

I will have a few more Gnome Sweet Gnome examples to show later this week.  I especially love the valentine that I'll be posting on Friday.  :)

Take it to Heart

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope the new year is treating you all well.  We've been so busy that we have hardly had time to appreciate it here at my house.  Since the first, I have had a customer appreciation party, & my son turned 11. (complete with an army-spy themed birthday party)  Now I am prepping for a 12 hour crop that I am co-hosting this weekend with two dear friends of mine.  The theme for the crop is Winter Wonderland.  If you are local to the king/pierce county area and are interested in attending - email me and I'll get you a registration form.  Next week I'll feature all of the goodies I've made for the crop.

This card was a make and take at my customer appreciation party.  My customers were excited to get their hands on things from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  We used Take it to Heart, PS I Love You, the Hearts Framelits, and Pool Party Seam Binding - all brand new products available in the mini catalog.

My greeting was accidentally stamped upside down - and I didn't notice until a customer pointed it out. (After I had taken this picture.)  I suppose this is the price I pay for always rushing through things.  Oh well, at least the design is done - and as many of you know, that is 3/4 of the battle.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Happy New Year everyone!!

Hello everyone!  Happy new year!  How are you?  I have missed you all so!  But, as I'm sure you can relate - the holidays took over my life.  Since my last post, we have done three thanksgivings, four family birthdays (including mine (:  ), five christmas celebrations, six craft bazaars, and a few holiday parties.  Mix that all in with last minute prepping and shopping - and you get chaos.  This year, I will be more prepared.  (Don't we all say that??)

The Occasions mini catalog starts on Wednesday, and I have to say - I'm just loving it!  There are so many fabulous products in there, especially for the big shot.  The biggest surprise for me was the framelits.  They come in a label shape, and a heart shape - and I just love them both.

Today's card features the label framelits, and the Rue Des Fluers stamp set.  I love the vintage feel it has.  Please be sure to let me know what you think!
