For All Things One Sheet Wonder

Welcome!  I am so glad that you have stopped by today!  Did you see all of the fabulous ideas posted in the ICS blog hop last night?  I loved them all!

Last night I shared one card, from a set of nine that I made using a One Sheet Wonder.  I haven't done a one sheet wonder in so long!  I forgot how fun they can be!

Here is the set of the whole cards:

I love the way the set looks altogether.  It was so easy to whip these cards out, and this could easily be done with any stamp set or patterned paper you have lying around!  If you put these in a cute little package, they'd make a great gift too!

Here are the cards individually:

As you can see, most of the cards are pretty simple with very little embellishments.  Here's a photo of my sheet, before I cut it up for these cards.

I was able to, basically, make my own patterned paper.  For this, I used the leaf, acorns, and wheat stamp from the stamp set.  I was chose to do each stamp in two different colors.  I started with the leaf, because it was the biggest.  I stamp the leaf in Cherry Cobbler, and Tangelo Twist.  Next I did the wheat stamp in Baked Brown Sugar, and Hello Honey.  Last, I stamped the acorns in Cajun Craze, and Mossy Meadow.

For cutting up my sheet, to make the 9 cards, I used a template I found on Pinterest.  It was designed by Mae Collins.  You can see the template here

I hope you enjoy the cards, as much as I did making them!
Thanks for stopping by!

Inspire. Create. Share. Blog Hop Fall is in the Air

Welcome to this month's edition of the ICS Blog Hop!  Can you believe that we've had this group going for a year now?  I'm so honored to be a part of this group, with such talented ladies on board!

This month is all about fall.  Fall is in the Air ladies, it's just about time to break out those cute boots, and warm scarves.

My card features the All Things Fall stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.  I LOVE the Holiday Catalog!  I'm not sure how it happens - but each catalog just keeps getting better!

My card is part of a set of nine cards that came from a One Sheet Wonder.  Come back tomorrow to see the other cards, and the template I used.

Next up on the hop is Pearl, who I am sure has made something lovely for you to see!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Another challenge! Woo hoo!

I decided to also play along with the sketch challenge over at Technostamper.  Mary Jo always has some sort of fun sketch challenge going on.  This week is no exception!

Here's my card:

I love the great color combos found in the Park Lane Designer Series Paper pack!  The coral dots found on the Elegant Butterfly, is actually just the back side of the Daffodil Delight floral print I used in the background.

Did you know that the Elegant Butterfly is actually part of the Weekly Deals right now?  That means this lovely punch could be yours, at a 25% discount!  Weekly Deals run Tuesday -Monday.  Don't miss out!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you enjoy my card!

Here's what I used on this card:

Create with Connie and Mary Challenge 316

I saw this fun color challenge on the Create with Connie & Mary blog - and knew right away I wanted to play along!

I was immediately sure that these colors would play well together.  I quickly got out my Perfect Blend stamp set and got to work.  Would you believe that I hadn't used this set yet?  (Which is even worse, when you learn that it was also the first set I bought out of the 2013/2014 catalog.)

Here's my card:

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card!  I hope you enjoyed it!

Can you Cast It? Challenge #132

I've never participated in the challenges for this blog before.  I recently met a few of the designers, at Stampin' Up!'s annual convention.  Also, we are on a the ICS blog hop group together.  You can check out their fun challenges, and play along here:  Can You Case It?

When I saw this challenge posted, I thought it'd be fun to give it a try!

I decided to CASE the card from page 120 of the annual Idea Book & Catalog.  I later found out that this wasn't exactly what the challenge was for - but I was nearly finished with my card at that point.  So, I decided to still just go with it.

Here's my card:

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you like my card.  Have a great day!

Inspire. Create. Share. Blog Hop

Welcome to the August edition of the Inspire. Create. Share. Blog hop!  This month we have a Black and White theme going.  This theme is so far out of my comfort zone - I wasn't sure I could do it.  We also used this theme for our swap at Stampin' Up!'s annual convention in Salt Lake City a few weeks ago.  I must say - it was easier than I thought, and the cards were all amazing!

Here is a group photo taken at convention of about half of our ICS Blog Hop Group.  From Left to Right we have:  Darla, Jen, Olivia, Tina, Eva, Deb, and that's me on the far right.  For my swap card, I really wanted to use the new Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper, so my card ended up being Basic Black and Very Vanilla.  For the blog hop though, I wanted to go with Basic Black and Whisper White, so I made a new card.

Here is my card for this month:

I love the simplicity of this card.  I feel like it is dressed up enough for a wedding, but still simple.

I hope you enjoyed my card - and that it will inspire you to make a card of your own.  Next up on the hop is Deb Naylor.  She always has something great to share!  Be sure to go and see what she has this month!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
