D's Stamping Team USA #imbringingbirthdaysback

Hello everyone!  I am so honored today to be a guest blogger on D's Stamping Team USA #imbringingbirthdaysback Blog Hop!  Thank you so much to Darla, and her team for having me!!

You are probably coming here from my friend Jen, at The Stamp Diva.  Wasn't her project just great?!  We are real life bffs, and I am so excited that we get to share this stampin' journey together!

You may have guessed from the title - but this month the hop is all about BIRTHDAYS!  A trainer from the Stampin' Up! home office decided in January that she was tired of Facebook ruining birthdays, and she was going to do something about it.  So, she started the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement.  She posted on her Facebook page that she would happily send a birthday card to anyone who wanted one.  They just needed to comment with their birthday, and PM her their address.  I'm sure she had no idea it would take off like it has.  (Big shout out to Shannon West, she's my favorite home office person, and the starter of this great movement!)  Apparently, a lot of people are underwhelmed with the popular trend of only a Facebook mention for birthdays.  As of a couple weeks ago, she had over 1500 names on her list.  (OVER ONE-THOUSAND-FIVE-HUNDRED birthday cards to mail out!!!!!!!!!)  The cool thing is that other people (myself included) loved what she is doing so much, they we are now doing it on our own too!  So, if you would like a birthday card - please, please, please email me your birthday and mailing address.  (email to scrappystampsandink at gmail dot com) I'd love to send you a card!

Here's the card I have to share with you today:

I decided to go with a masculine birthday card for the hop.  It seems there is always a need for more masculine cards.

I have really loved all of the great Sale-a-Bration items we have had this year, and will be sad to see them retire!  This card features the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper, and the greeting is from the Party Pants stamp set.  What is your favorite Sale-a-Bration item from this year??

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Please head on over to Darla's blog for some more amazing birthday inspiration!

You can purchase any of the items I used in my project from your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  If you do not have a demonstrator, each of the items listed is a link to my Stampin Up! Store.

Sale-a-Bration Coundown - 8 days left!!!

Happy Wednesday!

We've made it to the middle of the week!! Yay, us!  There are only 8 days left during Sale-a-Bration.  Which item in the catalog (or the additional flyer) was your favorite?  I love all of the items so much, I'm not sure I could pick one favorite.  (But, with this countdown - I get to pick 10! LOL)

Today I'm featuring the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set.  This set is absolutely adorable!  The set was designed to coordinate with our Honeycomb Embellishments, which I love! (OC p 9, $5)  But, most of my favorite cards made, don't even use them.  It is a great set for making a quick and easy card.
Three adorable images, with three little greetings.  Simple, and fun!

Here are my Pinterest Picks for the set:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you are enjoying this countdown as much as I am!
See you tomorrow!

Sale-a-Bration Coundown - 9 days left!

Hello again!

There are only 9 days left in Sale-a-Bration, can you believe it???

Today I am showcasing the Flowering Fields stamp set.  Here's a fun fact about this stamp set - these flowers look unique to us here in the U.S., but that is because they are in fact native to Australia.  I am in love with Australia.  So, when I learned where these flowers came from - I loved them even more!

Here are some of my favorite Pinterest picks that feature this stamp set:

Here is a card that I made for one of my classes:

Thanks so much for stopping by, again today!  I hope you are having a great week.  Be sure to get any last minute Sale-a-Bration orders in!  & Please come back tomorrow for another countdown post!

Sale-a-Bration Countdown - Only 10 days left!!

Hey there everyone!

That title is so surprising to me!  When Sale-a-Bration gets started in January, it always feels like there is so much time to collect all of the items that I love.  It almost feels like it won't ever end.  I can put that order off one more time, wait until the next class.

Well, time is almost up!!  I am so sad to say, there are only ten (10!) days left during this awesome promotion.  So, for the next 10 days, I'm going to count down the days with you.   Each day I'll pick a few amazing pinterest designs all featuring one spectacular Sale-a-Bration product.

Today we're going to talk about the Botanicals For You stamp set.  You can find this little gem on page 4 of the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Used alone, this set is pretty cool - but then just for a bit of extra pizzazz we find out that this set was made to coordinate with the Botanicals product suite found on pages 26 & 27 of the Occasions Catalog.

Let's take a look at the set:

So, as you can see there is a pretty big "Just for you" stamp.  It makes for a great focal point on any card.  This set also includes three smaller words, that work great with the main image.  Also included are three cute flowers, and two little leaves.

Here are some fun projects I found on Pinterest featuring this stamp set.  I love these cards!  I plan CASE-ing some of these tonight.

Here is a card I made for one of my classes last week that features this stamp set:

Thanks so much for stopping by - be sure to come back tomorrow to see which Sale-a-Bration item is featured!

ICS Blog Hop - It's a Love Thing

Welcome to this month's edition of the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop!  This month is all about **LOVE**!

We all have those special loved ones in our lives that deserve to hear how much they mean to us, especially on Valentine's Day.  I try to not only do something small for my family, but also for just about everyone I see.  Everyone likes to be appreciated, and a simple small valentine is an easy way to show appreciation to your cashier, banker, mailman, ups man, neighbor...ect.

The card I am sharing with you today I made for one of my close loved ones.  I love the Going Global stamp set available in the Occasions Catalog, and thought it had a perfect valentine sentiment!

I also wanted to really show off the Red Foil paper that carried over from the Holiday Catalog.  I think it is the perfect addition to any valentine you are working on!   For the tiny hearts, I used the Heart Border Punch.

Up next on the hop is Andrea.  I'm sure she has something great to share, so be sure to check it out!
